What is Blended Learning?

Basic forklift training is made up of theory and practical elements, both traditionally carried out face to face. Blended learning allows novice and experienced delegates to complete essential theory training online, giving them the freedom to learn at a time and pace that suits them, before building real-world confidence through hands-on practical training.

The introduction of online learning supports flexibility, so businesses can minimise downtime, and, with instructor-led practical sessions and assessment, delegates still receive face-to-face coaching where it matters most.

Just like the traditional face to face format, our blended courses are all AITT-accredited, meaning content has been externally verified to meet the accrediting body’s high standards, so you can be assured of the same quality, consistency and compliance.

Benefits for Businesses & Learners

Save time

Delegates can fit e-theory around busy operational periods and train at different times to their colleagues, often completing eTheory in fewer total hours than face to face theory training.

Save money

With one less day of instructor-led training required on a standard novice/experienced course, businesses can typically save around 20% per course.

Flexible learning

Learners work through manageable modules on any device, at their own pace, with regular summaries and quizzes to reinforce understanding.

Modules include a varied mix of visual, written and interactive elements, aiding engagement with course content.

FASTER LEAD TIMES

With blended courses requiring fewer consecutive days of practical training, training courses can often take place sooner.

Simplified Administration

As well as eliminating the need for you to source a classroom on day one, we issue course access to delegates directly, carry out progress monitoring, reminders and reporting, so you don’t have to.

Additional training tool

Though designed for novice / experienced delegates, the course can also be revisited as remedial training or used as a screening tool for operator candidates.

Consistent accredited standards

eTheory includes all of the same AITT-approved course content as traditional face-to-face training.

And, as all delegates are accessing the same eTheory material, the modules deliver consistency across every online learner within your business, regardless of location.
