Training course for drivers, vehicle loaders and managers responsible for load security.
This course is designed to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills needed to work safely and comply with current legislation and guidance. On completion of the course, delegates will be able to ensure loads are secured correctly and safely to prevent a lost load, significantly reducing the risk of accidents, incidents, damage and disruption.
This course consists of a mixture of classroom and practical demonstrations, as well as practice and testing of delegates for confirmation of learning. This is a Builders Merchants Federation approved course.
The course is also available as Driver CPC-accredited. It counts as 7 hours towards the 35 hours of periodic training required every 5 years to retain a Certificate of Professional Competence to drive a lorry.
