We are very pleased to announce that our new, hard-hitting forklift safety video ‘Safely Working with Lift Trucks’ is a Finalist for the Safety Award in the FLTA Awards for Excellence 2017.
Since its launch in September, the video has received very positive feedback for its approach to forklift truck safety awareness and its inclusive appeal. Designed to benefit everyone working on or around forklift trucks, the video acts as a reminder for operators in danger of becoming complacent, as well as informing pedestrians often omitted from forklift safety training but actually most at risk – making up 57% of those injured in accidents involving forklift trucks.
1,000 views during Safetember
The video – developed to help companies reduce the risk of accidents by targeting the behaviour at the root of unsafe practice – recently received almost 1000 views from companies big and small across a diverse range of industries, when we offered free previews in support of the FLTA’s recent ‘Safetember’ campaign. We hope companies continue to find it a helpful tool, whether for staff training, toolbox talks or inductions.
