We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with Ashgate Hospice, a Derbyshire-based charity that provides excellent palliative and end-of-life care and bereavement support.
Our goal is to raise funds throughout the year for the charity, which relies on donations and goodwill from its supporters to continually deliver an exceptional level of care.
To raise funds for this fantastic cause, we will take on company wide events and activities throughout the year. We kicked things off with some amazing bakes at our head office cake sale in February and are aiming to build on our positive start with an active challenge, beginning in March – the ‘Training Centre Trek’!
The Mentor team have been set the challenge covering the equivalent number of miles between each of our three training centres… and back again! As a group we will be walking, running, biking, rowing, and swimming our way towards the target goal of 716 miles!
Update: We have now completed our Training Centre Trek! Our team put in a fantastic effort and walked, ran, and cycled their way to the target goal of 716 miles. More importantly, we exceeded our target fundraising goal and raised £350 for the charity!
