We are happy to help with any enquiries you may have or to discuss any operator or instructor training requirements in more detail.

We’re joining forces with the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) for Health & Safety Scotland to reveal the truth about what causes forklift accidents and provide some important advice for managers of lift truck operations.

In their talk, ‘The Truth about Forklift Safety and How to Make a Difference’, Mentor MD Stuart Taylor and FLTA CEO Peter Harvey, will show that despite the wealth of technological advances in MHE and warehousing, we are a considerable way from UK business becoming fully automated. They’ll explain how – until this time – we remain dependent on human behaviour to determine safety standards and how, as managers, you can limit risk by increasing awareness and targeting complacency.

How to raise standards AND save money

Not only will their talk show that good managers are the key to safer operations but they will also demonstrate how, by creating a more productive workforce, you can benefit your bottom line and make substantial savings on costly damage and disruption.

Health & Safety Scotland is part of Scotland Works, a free-to-attend event hosting 300 exhibitors and 56 speakers, across 2 days at the SEC Glasgow. Catch Mentor and the FLTA in the Safer Logistics Theatre on Wednesday 3rd May at 10.35am.

This event has now passed.
