We are thrilled to have been announced as a finalist for the ‘Training Provider of the Year’ award at this year’s Archies, hosted by the UK Material Handling Association.
We’ve been shortlisted for the award at the prestigious event which recognises excellence in material handling and celebrates those who work to innovate and raise standards throughout the industry.
Our Commercial Director, Adam Smith, expressed his pride at being selected, “It’s fantastic to be nominated for Training Provider of the Year. Moments like this only happen as a result of the entire team working together collectively to make sure our operation runs at a high level. With 150+ instructors nationwide, all carrying out training daily, every team within the business works hard to ensure that each course is delivered to a consistent high standard, so our customers can have complete peace of mind. To have everyone’s efforts recognised is very gratifying.”
Though it underwent a name change a few years ago, the Archies awards ceremony has been a highlight of the material handling calendar for over 30 years, and it will not be Mentor’s first time on the shortlist, as we were lucky enough to take home the ‘Award for Safety’ in 2017 and receive a high commendation in 2021.
Adam continues, “The awards are designed to honour excellence, so we’re delighted to be amongst the finalists. We work hard to deliver market-leading training, but, beyond that, to provide great customer service, thought leadership and set benchmarks within the industry, as well. We always strive to provide training and support that stands out from the rest, so to be acknowledged is fantastic.”
The UKMHA Archies awards dinner will take place on the 14th of September at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. You can find the full details of the event here.
