Contractors in the construction industry who wish to apply for a green CSCS Labourer card can use an IOSH Working safely qualification as evidence of their health and safety training.
IOSH Working safely has been recognised as equivalent to a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, meaning that those who have already completed the IOSH course can go ahead and apply for their CSCS card (once they pass the obligatory CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test) without the need to take further health and safety training
