With instructors located across the length and breadth of the UK, we can deliver on-site training at your premises wherever you are – from Northern Scotland down to the Cornwall and Kent coasts, and from East Anglia across to Wales and Northern Ireland.

Fixed costs, consistent standards

Our unique scale of operation means great coverage for our customers. We allocate local instructors to your site to deliver training, keeping travel costs down and enabling us to offer fixed prices nationwide, with no hidden travel or accommodation costs for you to worry about.

We know that our customers, particularly national, multi-site businesses, need assurance that, regardless of where training takes place, it is delivered to the same, consistent standards for safety and compliance. Our dedicated onboarding and continuous quality measures ensure that uniform standards will be met, every time – whether training is delivered by an instructor in Aberdeen, another in Bournemouth, or anyone in between!

Our robust standardisation methods include:

• Mentor Academy – each of our instructors go through the same onboarding process before becoming part of our larger network to ensure they are confident to deliver our courses to all industry and Mentor standards
• Centrally issued course/testing materials – all materials are quality controlled and provided to our instructors for consistency in training content and format
• FTA auditing and support – Mentor instructors are regularly visited by dedicated Field Training Assessors who audit and support them to ensure standards are upheld over time
• Verification of results – all results are checked to ensure accuracy
• Accredited training – by member bodies of the Accrediting Bodies Association for Workplace Transport, and registered with these bodies for external verification/auditing purposes. AITT audits consistently confirm we meet excellence standard for providers going above and beyond normal industry requirements

Though the vast majority of our training is delivered on customers’ sites, for those who do require training at an external location, we have three UK training centres where forklift instructor and operator training takes place:

• Bromsgrove, Worcestershire
• Livingston, West Lothian
