We are thrilled to announce that we have achieved the Association of Industrial Truck Trainers’ (AITT) Excellence Standard at each of our three training centres following their latest audits.
Excellence standard is reserved for training providers that exceed the usual industry requirements. This accolade is achieved by meeting exacting criteria and satisfying additional AITT checks during the audit.
Liam Knight, Managing Director at AITT, applauds us for our accomplishment, “AITT Excellence was introduced to highlight training providers that have gone above and beyond the normal industry requirements. To achieve the excellence standard, Mentor FLT Training Ltd have had to meet the extended requirements of a normal AITT audit and should be enormously proud of their achievement in gaining this standard across their Bromsgrove, Chesterfield, and Livingston training centres”.
As long-standing providers of AITT accredited operator and instructor training, we work hard to provide customers with assurance of standards. Therefore, they take a great deal of pride in being recognised as a company that exceeds expectations.
AITT originally launched the excellence standard initiative to improve the standards of its training organisations and recognise the very best with a new level of accreditation. To comply with requirements, providers must:
- operate a dedicated training centre
- run an internal and external monitoring scheme for their instructors
- implement an annual audit of instructors using AITT documentation
- have undergone at least two audits prior to the annual visit, without sanctions
- Be actively promoting and registering AITT accredited training via the ACORNS database
