Overhead Gantry Cranes

We provide LEEA accredited operator training on the below types of electric overhead travelling cranes (EOTC):

• Pendant Control – the crane is manoeuvred by a pendant control attached to the crane that is held at ground level by the operator.
• Remote Control – this is similar to the pendant control system but the remote control is not attached to the crane thus allowing the operator more freedom to work from the optimum location.
• Cab Control – the operator is located in a cab that is usually attached to the crane gantry to give them good vision of the operation from above.
